Undergraduate studies
The program is of a total duration of 4 years. During the seven semesters are offered 35 core courses and 8 elective compulsory subjects (the F and G Semester) from which the student chooses 4. The last semester (H) carried out the practice in the profession. The training ends with the preparation of the thesis. Overall the student's program consists of 39 courses, the thesis and practical training in the profession.
During the A and B semester, the students are taught Social and Humanities courses from which Social Work derives knowledge (Sociology, Psychology, Law, Social Policy) IT and introductory courses in Social Work. In the following semesters they taught Theory and Methodology of Social Work courses, Organization and Management, Social Planning, Social Policy, Social Research, and lessons that help in understanding the specialized courses.
During the D, E, and F semester the Practice Placement-Supervision is carried out (7 + 1 hours per week in D semester, 12 + 1 hours in the fifth and sixth semester). Students are supported and guided through weekly group supervision (one hour per week per student). The Practice Placement-Supervision provides students the opportunity to link theoretical knowledge with practice and develop the application of Social Work as part of a Social Service/Organization.
