The Farm

The Farm of the TEI in Heraklion is the open laboratory area of the School of Agricultural Technology, where students complete their lab exercises, while it also serves as a practicum place for those who choose it. It covers an area of 600.000m2 which includes vineyards, olive groves, plantations of fruit, vegetables and citrus fruits, plots with products of market gardening and gardens with flowering and aromatic plants. Banana-trees, vegetables and flowers are cultivated in the greenhouses.
