The beginning of the academic year 1999-2000 brought the establishment of the Department of Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering, TEI of Crete, located in Chania, with a structured programme of undergraduate studies developed in accordance with modern trends; its main goals are studying, designing, developing and harnessing technologies that are used today for the rational management of Environmental and Natural Resources.
