The long-term effort and social sensitivity we treat delicate issues of vulnerable social groups that form part of the Student population of the TEI of Crete, are depicted in a series of infrastructure and services it provides.
The opportunities in intellectual and entertaining Student activities are many and developing rapidly with the support of the Institution. New Students have personal advisory support during arrival and throughout their studies, from the Counseling and Psychological Social Support Center.
The TEI of Crete provides free feeding to approximately 3000 students in its restaurants, in buildings of the Institution in Heraklion, and its Departments, situated in the cities of Chania, Rethymnon, Agios Nikolaos, Ierapetra and Sitia.
The TEI of Crete has Student Residencies in the Cities of Heraklion and Sitia and it can host 296 and 23 students respectively. Furthermore there is provision for the accommodation of Students in the Departments situated in the cities of Chania, Rethymno, Agio Nikolao and Ierapetra with collaborating hotels.
